SANITATION WORKS ON THE SHORES OF LAKE TANGANYIKA ORGANIZED BY BUILD THE WORLD
On the morning of Saturday, October 12, 2024, Build the World organized a sanitation operation at SAFI BEACH, next to BAR PASTA COMEDIA. This work also involved the drainage channel that runs between the beaches, connecting the Asian neighborhood to Lake Tanganyika.
That day was crucial for preserving these public spaces, which are essential to the quality of life for residents and visitors. Build the World took all necessary measures to ensure safety and environmental respect, while also managing the waste collected during the operation.
For those who wish to relive this event, a video of the work has been made available through a shared link: https://www.facebook.com/tvmashariki/videos/515889821367284/?mibextid=YIjw0uDPbU8WYW2J
It was an important moment for the community, united in the effort to protect their environment. Three days later, this action continued to resonate in people’s minds, strengthening the bond between residents and their space.
